Thank you for your continued support of the Paradise Theatre! 2018 was an incredible year in Paradise. We had over 7,200 people attend our movies. Through programs like Pickin’ N Paradise and World Music in Paradise, 5,000 people attended music concerts, events or lectures and we reached over 1,800 students with our outreach programs. We are thrilled to have impacted so many people and are looking forward to many more successful years.

In 2018, we launched a new capital campaign to Improve Paradise. We are currently raising funds for lights, sound, seats, cooling and structural improvements and we need your help.

The improvements the Friends of the Paradise Theatre completed in 2018 are:

  • New ramp lights
  • New ADA equipment for the hearing and visually impaired
  • New safety exit lights
  • New projector fan to keep the projector equipment cool and ensure longevity of this expensive equipment
  • Outdoor electrical outlets installed for safety compliance

Improvements for 2019 are:

  • Replace stage lights with an energy efficient lighting system
  • Replace swamp cooler
  • New handrails for the ramp

These three projects will cost the Paradise Theatre $29,000.00. Currently we have raised almost $19,000.00 through fundraising and grants. Help us make critical capital improvements by making a one-time donation or making a monthly donation (2 year commitment).

Donation levels are:

  • Balcony $360 ($15 per month)
  • Orchestra $840 ($35 per month)
  • Bar Stool $1200 ($50 per month)
  • Front Row $2880 ($120 per month)
