Lugnuts

7:30-9:00pm

Lugnuts imageThe Lugnuts are a 4 piece rock and roll/boogie dance band from the Delta/Montrose area. The members have extensive musical experience; collectively performing professionally for over 120 years! Officially debuting in 2009, they bring to the stage years of touring (entertaining) in nightclubs, concerts, private parties & roadhouses across America and parts of Europe and Asia.

Eddie Boiani sings lead and harmony vocals and plays drums with maniacal metronomic ability. His keen sense of changing dynamics provide the engine for the Lugnut sound and a flair for the dramatic. Bob Becker lays down the pocket on electric bass. His well-crafted articulate bass lines work in tandem with Boiani’s funky rhythmic punch; inviting all to dance. Paul Frazier sings lead and harmony vocals and plays electric guitar. His style is a blend of “chicken-pickin” country rock, rhythm & blues, old school rock & roll and funk. Paul is also a member of the Solar Brothers acoustic duo. Kurt Isgreen sings lead and harmony vocals and plays electric guitar with mostly blues and rock influences. His touch and tone are sweet genius, cutting through with both sweetness and grit.

The Lugnuts are all about great music for dancing and listening. Their repertoire/set lists are made up from hits of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’ and beyond. (Rolling Stones, Delbert Mc Clinton, James Brown, Eagles, Bob Wills, Merele Haggard, Johnny Cash, Clint Black) If you enjoy rock & roll, rhythm & blues, country, and western swing, with tight vocal harmonies, you’ll have a great time dancing and listening to The Lugnuts.

What folks are saying:

“This local quartet of seasoned professionals perform strictly rock & roll, rhythm & blues, country, and western swing dance music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond! Come and dance your socks off!”

“The Lugnuts Band are a premier dance band from local Delta and Montrose counties. The individual and collective talents of Eddie Boiani, Paul Frazier, Kurt Isgreen and Bob Becker demand that you will be up and dancing all night long!”

“We’ve estimated that together, they combine approximately 120 years of professional musical experience…Yikes!”
